NCTC Derbyshire ride Etiquette

We want all our members to really enjoy this trip to Derbyshire and with the numbers going this will require your co-operation. We will be riding in groups while in Derbyshire and we would ask that the groups stay together as much as possible. If someone is in trouble please do not ride away from them. Communicate as a group and try to maintain visibility at all times. If this means the whole group has to slow down then please do this, there is no set time to complete these rides, so take your time to enjoy cycling in this area and the amazing scenery around you. On the longer rides, communication will be especially important as there are potentially dangerous descents so always leave plenty of space between you and the rider in front. Although the club rides are designed to be very challenging they are not meant to become "sufferfests!!" Again there are no time limits so take your time to really enjoy the rides with fellow club members in a fantastic part of the country.
