By now everyone should have confirmed their booking with the hotel. Bike should be in excellent condition, especially the brakes. For those coming on the club rides it will be VERY dangerous if you have worn brake blocks, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!.

I need to know final numbers for those who will be arriving on the Friday and intend to join us on the afternoon ride, remember this will be from Bakewell and not the Ibis hotel in Chesterfield, so please message me, if you haven’t informed me already, if you will be joining us on this extra ride.

The website https://derbyshire.newmarket-cycling-triathlon-club.co.uk will have many updates over the next few days with full route descriptions, images and useful resources about our trip. PLEASE READ IT.

The safety of everyone on the trip is of upmost importance so building on the success of last year we will be taking support cars with us again this year. It was overwhelmingly agreed last year that this was a very important part of the trip so we will be asking everyone for a payment of £10.00 (non-members £20.00) that will go towards the cost of having support vehicles with us. Our support drivers are Bonny Millar (social ride), Carolyn Cordner (club rides) and Rich Sherman (sporting rides).
