BC COVID-19 Guidance

Based on the Government’s latest advice, as of 00.01 on Boxing Day we move into Tier 4 restrictions.

Therefore British Cycling & British Triathlon activities and events in Tier 4 areas will be temporarily suspended in line with the new restrictions being introduced.

The suspension of club, group, coaching activities and events will last until the these restrictions are lifted in line with government advice.

As before, where possible we encourage you to keep active during this time, while following government guidelines about safe distance and safe exercise environments.

Lets Get To The Indian Ocean

We are well into Lockdown II, and like before we have a club challenge!

To encourage every current club member to keep active in this 2nd lockdown we want to try and ride, swim (if you're brave!), walk or run collectively to reach a total 7429 miles bewteen now and Christmas Day!!
(Indoor rides & runs count, as do family walks etc - every mile makes a difference.)

It will not be re-arranged for this year but hopefully, all will be good for next year.

All we need is for you to log your distances on a simple sheet that you will find here:- https://tinyurl.com/ycunwzdx
LOG MILES HERE
It's really simple - Just 4 steps.

1. Find you name in column A from the drop down list (you'll need to start at the bottom of the list)
2. Select the date you did the activity on in column B
3. Select the type of activity in column C
4. Just type in the length of the activity in column D in miles (sorry swimmers you'll have to convert from yards to miles)

We will include all miles from the 5/11/2020, so please add all miles you've done in the last 9 days.
The sheet will do the rest & to add a bit of spice and club competition there is a running total on the 'leaderboard' tab at the bottom.

Again we will even be awarding some spot prizes, so you have to be in it to win it!

Whatever your training needs, we have a range of friendly and supportive coached swimming, running, turbo training and strength and conditioning sessions, as well as club time trials from April to August and our regular Saturday social/club/sporting rides.

Here is a list of times for our daily events. Other one off events can be found in our full calendar. Currently NC&TC activities are cycling and running, swimming has been suspended until further notice due to COVID-19, there will be a further update in the near future.

Winter Turbo  Training - Racing Centre 8-9.30pm - November to March

Strength & Conditioning - 18.15-19.15pm

Swimming @ NLC 6-7am

SATURDAY

NC&TC Social/Club and Sporting Rides 8.45 meet for 9am start from the NLC
